ryanair credit card charges

I'm trying to avoid the charges ryanair make for using credit cards - it seems that if you use a visa connect or delta card the charges drop form £6 to £1. Does anybody out there know how i can find out where to get a connect or delta card, it would be worth having one just to pay for the flights!

Seems like it was announed in the general price changes at the start of last month but later changed and Electron is still free.

Just bought flights to France for four people. £124 for four of us. £31 each, cheaper than getting to London on the train so that is great! I just can't undestand though, how they can justify charging per person per leg of the journey to pay by credit card. For a Mastercard £3 per person per leg so £24 on a £124 transaction. If I went into Asda and bought £124 of shopping I wouldn't pay anything! I know asda absorb the cost in their profit margin but even then it is only 2.5% or £3 ish in total. Ryanair are effectively charging £29 to process one transaction on my credit card. Eventually I went for my visa debit and only paid £8. Surely a transaction is a transaction regardless of how many people are travelling. Why can't they just add it in the overall charge and have done with it. Or would that have tax implications for them?
Happy with the flights. Love flying ryanair as they are always great helping with kids, pushcahairs and all that, but £29 to pay by credit card is a scam.
