Caller ID on Virgin Media?

Do they do it?

How much does it cost?

Do I have to change my current phone etc?

Thanks:)

Its not available on every VM Switch ,and you would need a phone that supported it, or a caller display unit.

Also most areas use a different standard to the BT one, with just a few areas using the BT standard.

You might be able to get Caller Display for free if you call up and tell them both BT and Sky offer this for free. This is how I got my Caller Display for free.
It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!
(OK my English isn't great, the sciences, maths & IT are my strong points!)
  • BexTech,
You say in your signature, among other things, that it's "got not gotten".
Well I'm English (born in East Yorkshire, live in London), and I have to disagree. Although we hardly use gotten over here much anymore, I can think of one example as in "ill-gotten gains".
Get is the present tense of the verb. Got is the past tense and gotten is the past participle.
Here in England we seem to have dropped the form "gotten" which is a shame because when you only have the choice of "got" the sentence becomes ever so slightly less precise.
We still use forget, forgot and forgotten so why not get, got and gotten?
    I say "Bring it back!"

    To add on to this:

If my MAC you mean migration authorisation code, then you are correct.
However, MAC also means Media Access Controller - a code given to computers and other IT hardware -, so....

    Not quite correct but close.

The line cards in the Street Mux (usually two green boxes next to each other) have to be upgraded to CLI Enabled Line Cards. If the Mux hasn't been upgraded, the is no CLI.
