I got the £10 through the post and tried to use it, says not valid on this account?

Try registering your ebay email address on paypal, mine worked when I did it.

Got 3 ebay accounts in our household, only got one £5 email as Easter promo. Have had 2x £5 on the other 2 at Christmas so maybe they send them out to various people at certain times of the year.
  • I got my £10 voucher too, linked my ebay and paypal accounts and still says I can't use the voucher on my paypal account. Have phoned ebay 3 times and they can't see any reason why it won't work, not sure what to do now?

I'd be VERY careful doing something like that mira - eBay will view that as shill bidding and probably fraud too, and they don't take prisoners if they suspect that.

My listing wasn't auction style (bidding) so i don't think it is considered as shill bidding. I'm not increasing the price of the item on anyone else. Its only a Buyitnow item. I think these days ebay are interested more in monitoring listings that involve bidding rather than buyitnow because unlike bidding, buyitnow items don't affect anyone else by getting the price increased. This is my opinion.

I would also like to add the following link from Ebay which say:

"Family members, roommates or employees may purchase items from a seller without violating this policy simply by using purchase options, such as Buy It Now, which do not involve bidding."

I got and spent a £10 of no minimum spend coupon. Im sure anybody can use it as all it is the word "CIRCLE" which i have seen on the myvouchercodes websites. To use it all you have do is put it in the redemption code box at the bottom of paypal but remember to select the eBay user from who you got the item to get the discount
I also got a direct number for eBay beacuse i'm and eBay Star :j:T
 Student Current Accounts = - £3400
    :rotfl: Nectar - 3331 Points :D
    :p Quidco - £98.18 :T

Its linked to you account so when you enter the code they check that you had been sent it. It might work for some but you could end up loosing £10 if you buy something just because you thought it would be free.

I dont think it is linked to your account because the day before I got my coupon, the discount code 'CIRCLE' was showing on mydiscountcodes.co.uk

DO NOT USE "CIRCLE" UNLESS YOU HAVE BEEN SENT THE CODE!

I bought an item last night from ebay, and thought I might aswel check the Circle code however this does not work! It takes it off but you stil have to enter your paypal password etc. and it said "This code cannot be used with this account".

So do not buy anything thing if you are not going to pay for it if you don't get the code.
