Hotels in Prague?

Off to Prague for a week's hols in July. I'm trying Priceline for hotels but have gone over my limit of attempts so have to wait a few days. Does anyone have any other advice for getting a good hotel deal? Many thanks. ???

Do you definitely want a hotel? The two times I have been(and also others I know who have been) we've stayed in apartments and other accomodations. The prices are very competitive and some include breakfasts etc.

i can highly recommend Maria Longs agency at http://www.mlongagency.com/Prague/

we had an excellent 2 person apartment 30 seconds from the old town square for only £30 a night. They also organised door to door transfers from the airport etc very reasonably and avoiding the taxis who can sometimes be a bit liberal with their charging.

Many thanks, sounds great, think I'll give it a go.
