Have just phoned AOL cancellation dept and asked if there was anything they could do with my monthly cost as I am not working at the moment. VERY nice man with a lovely Irish accent said without a blink we can give you the top BB package for £9.99 a month for ever and next month free bacause of the problems they have been having - my BB has been fine! Also asked about the deal that new customers are getting and he said yep, no problem - if you want that you can have it and went through all the info and has emailed it to me for further info.

After reading your post I decided to do the same thing. Didn't get someone irish, sadly, but did get my monthly payment reduced by £5 and had my broadband speed doubled.0
