Capital One Statement cashback total

Hi,

I have just received my first statement from Capital One. I have the 4% cashback card for the first 3 months however I cannot see any cashback total on my statement. Any thoughts?

Mine was listed in the lower half of the page, towards the right. It's in quite small print so not easy to find.

I've also got this card and just received my first statement. I can't find any reference to the cashback earned either - unless it's printed in invisble ink! I've checked all three pages of the statement (front and back) and can't find any reference - I feel a phone call coming on!

Are you both sure you have been issued with the correct card?
Capital one are in the habit of not giving people the card they applied for.
Or perhaps there's been a problem with the statement run this month.
Either way phone them to check.

I checked my paperwork as soon as the card arrived, and again when the statement didn't show the cashback.

The letter sent with the credit agreement for signature said "Congratulations, you've been accepted for a Capital One Cashback card with World Mastercard(R)", and said about the 4% cashback.

The letter with the card (the one the card was attached to) said "It's here... Your Capital One Cashback card with World MasterCard(R)"

When I rang them to activate the card, I again checked about the cashback and the exact date that the 4% finished - and had this confirmed.

I have just rung them and they confirmed that it is a cashback card, but that details of the cashback do not appear until the second statement. They also confirmed that cashback applies on all the spending from day one. I thought this a bit strange, as all my previous cashback/points cards (and I've had a few) have shown this on the first statement. I was a bit concerned about not getting the cashback as I've spent over £500 on the card this month. Anyway, the CS operator was quite happy to give his name (and even spelled it out for me without me having to ask), so if the cashback doesn't appear on statement 2 I have his details.

Thanks for all of your comments and your assistance. Capital One have also confirmed to me that my card is the 4% cashback one, so I will wait until my next statement for the cashback totals.

I realise that the cashback is paid in January, but the welcome booklet I received (on that page showing a sample statement) indicates the area on the statement where cashback is shown - and it's blank on my statement.

All the other cashback/reward cards I've got/had show the cashback/rewards earned that month and also a cumulative cashback/rewards figure - from the first statement: that's why I was querying this.

Sorry, I misunderstood. The cash back earned this month and total to date should appear on the bottom left of the last page on your statement.
