Not to sure if this is on the right board.
But can any advise on what is the cheapest and safesy way to take our holiday spending money to Ibiza? Travellers cheques? withdraw from the bank when we are there? etc etc
Thanks in advances for any response.

First - sorry, I hit the 'thanks' button instead of 'reply'.... senior moment..
I always take a small amount of local currency to see me through the first few days, and the rest in Sterling, which I keep in the room safe and change locally as and when I need it.
I also take my CC for larger purchases or meals out. (I know one particular CC is recommended - Nationwide? - but I am not that organised... yet...)
I haven't used travellers cheques for years because I object to paying two lots of commissions. Similarly I try to avoid drawing money from foreign ATM's because of the charges. But I do take my debit card, because if you do have to use a card to get cash, debit is cheaper than credit.
Hope this helpsI'm a retired employment solicitor. Hopefully some of my comments might be useful, but they are only my opinion and not intended as legal advice.0 -

Basically Nationwide credit and debit cards do not charge a loading for foreign currency transaction (cash advance & interest apply to cash withdrawals on a credit card but not purchases).
As for safest - probably the travellers cheques, but more expensive and inconvenient.0
