Vista home basic upgrade on a dell pc?

    Even though my disc says vista basic? I really dont want to spent £58 to upgrade to find either it doesnt work.

    Yes, he's right; Dell, along with most major pc manufacturers, will provide a warranty that applies to the system as it shipped from the factory.
