Got mine today too, in an enormous cardboard box. The electric screwdriver is pretty basic and is only single speed, but useful if you haven't already got one I suppose. There are quite a lot of screwdrivers and head attachments in the case though, so probably worth the 4 or so pounds it effecitvely cost.

Still waiting for my speakers from last year. I sent Staples another email a couple of days ago reminding them that my free gift for that never arrived. Nothing back though. Funny that. Even a reply along the lines of "sorry, you're never going to get one, just drop it" would be better than nothing.

Oh, they also put one of their big fat catalogues in the box, which has gone straight in the recycling bin.

Is this still working, when you enter the code is it meant to come up with what the gift actually is?

I only see gift code and the below gift with an asterix next to it

It seemed to work for me, in the gift code bit, go to checkout, click on 'gift' and then put the code in..

I done that, just it never came up saying....eg. Gift = Screwdriver

My quesiton is it meant to actually say what gift you are getting on the checkout page once the code has been entered?
  •

The staples site says business customers only, how are you getting round this? or do you all have businesses.

    Thanks

  • I tried to get a freebie through staples by buying a pencil. Cost me £4 for a pencil and the freebie didnt turn up. Not trying this again, but thanks.
