Kays Dyson DC07 Animal problem

Options
I am not sure were to put this, but here goes. Like alot of people I ordered a Dyson DC07 Animal from Kays. When I went onto "my account" on Kays site I found that they had just cancelled my order without telling me. I Emailed them about it and they are saying now that they are sorry buy they can't get anymore stock from Dyson. So I have Emailed Dyson to tell them my problem with Kays, Dyson have told me by Email that they do have the Dyson DC07 in stock. I passed that Email onto Kays, they Emailed me back saying they have passed it on to " a member of the Directors Office Team  " which I am still awaiting a reply.
Because I have proved that Dyson do have stock of the DC07 Animal, does anyone think we have a case to take it further?
Or can the great :money: if he has a spare 5 mins send a quick Email to kays at amanda.hollingsworth@shopg.net I think he has the power of an army, when the odds are against him.
Regards,
Owey

    Hi Owey,

I work in a small Hardware shop, but we do a lot of selling over the Internet, Dyson's in particular, since we can sell them at a good price.

Our Wholesaler no longer sells the DC07 Animal because they don't make them anymore. We then removed them from the website.

We had an enquiry from someone a few months back for a DC07 Animal, and I explained we could no longer get them and the alternatives. A few days later, they rang back, saying Dyson said they have them in stock. So i rang our supplier, no joy - Discontinued item they said.

Dyson were still offering them for sale on the retail section of their website, but our DC14 Animal was £225, so it was cheaper then they were selling them for.

I am 100% sure Kays will not get any more Dyson DC07 Animals in stock ever again. When Dyson say they have them in stock, the stocks are limited, and just for them to sell retail through there own website.

Dyson used to make a lot of different DC07 Models, but following the release of the DC15 Ball range, they discontinued the DC04 range completely, and lowered the amount of DC07's to just 3 models.

Like I say we sell DC14 Animals for £225, which is about as cheap as they come. I obviously can't post the link here, but can forward it to you if you need it.

Or if you need any other dyson related Info, I feel I am in a good position to offer it.

    Hi 'Homer',

They still make all spare parts for the DC04.

Infact they still make all spares for the DC01 as well, and will continue to do so for a few years I expect. We still use a DC01 in the shop, and it's never gone wrong once, i expect there are thousands more still in use.
