Double points on Amex Nectar Card?

I recently signed up for the Amex Nectar Card, with the promise of 5000 bonus points for spending £200, plus double Nectar points on all spend for the first 3 months. I've just checked my first statement and have only been credited with the standard number of points - 1 point per pound.
Does anyone know if Amex credit the double points at the end of the 3 months, or do I need to chase them up to make sure I get them?
Thanks!
