  • Hello, sorry, just have a question for you! Did they (Virgin) tell you immediately? Cos I applied on Weds & I haven't heard anything yet?

    Thanks!

Colann, in another thread you are saying that you are struggling to pay your credit card bill. I'd suggest that you have a rethink on getting another CC.

Yes you can pay funds direct to your Bank Account from a Virgin card. It has SBT (Super Balance Transfer) capability.

If you transfer as much as they will allow (possibly 95% of the limit to allow for the Balance Transfer fee) to your Bank Account, you can pay off your overdraft, and any left over could be sent to HFC to pay your laptop loan off.

A good deal, as you will now have these debts on 0% for 15 months. Remember to get a note of the EXACT expiry date of the 0% so that you can avoid paying the punitive variable rates.

Virgin and MBNA are the same company, so you can't BT from one to the other.

Not a problem as Colann can send all the funds to her Bank Account. From there she can pay off whoever she likes. SBT (Super Balance Transfer) is an amazingly powerful facility.

Sorry Treadmill, I completely disagree. Colann is doing completely the right thing moving the debts to a 0% card - this is good Debt management and should help her get sorted much more quickly.

    Hi Colann,

As per my previous post, just tranfer the lot to your Bank Account.

From there you can pay whoever you like, no problem,
