Ebay themselves advise against Western Union payments due to the ease at which you can be scammed. Take a look at virtually all the emails they send internally, or do a help search on ebay.
I've never used bidpay but maybe ask on the official ebay group about that one?
However, I always think it best to stick to your accepted methods of payment outlined in your auction. You know the risks of what you accept and you know how to keep safe with them, so why muddy the water by having terms dictated to you by a seller?
