If you call CCCS before you call Shakespeare, I think they should be able to advise you on how you can get out of the DMP you are paying for. You're in the right place to get this sorted out though! Night, keep posting tomorrow and let us know how you get on! xxxx0

Hey don't worry about the clothes for now, just make sure you ring tomorrow either CCCS or Payplan and thank your lucky stars that you posted tonight could save a lot of money in the long run!
You can in the meantime send a letter to creditors offering them a token payment of £1 and telling them you are in contact with CCCS.0 -
            Hi SulkyOctopus
Please do get it touch with CCCS. Shakespeare will take a cut for doing somehting that CCCS will do for free, this means it will take longer to pay off yor debts because your creditors are getting less money. You can cancel your arrangement with Shakespeare and your creditors will be more likely (but not guaranteed) to stop interest if you are with CCCS as they are well respected and the industry fund them to hlep people who are having trouble repaying debts.
EDIT: oops - too slow, everyone else got there first. Good luck with getting everything sorted and don't worry about it all too much and don't beat yourself up, just get all your info together and speak to CCCS.£34,547 (Dec 07); Current debt: £zilch (Debt free December 2010)

If you have not send the forms back, then it should mean you have not signed up - I take it its the first paperwork you have had from them. Bare in mind Shakespear are sales people they will be persistant and say things that aren't always in your best interest.0

You don't give them a choice, just write saying we are in contact with CCCS until you hear from there enclosed is a token payment of a £1 many thanks for your co-operation.
That sort of thing sure you can pad it out a bit!0 -
            Hi SO
Use this link for CCCS - some people have ended up in the wrong place when looking for them through Google.
