why don't you just install the free version rather than running trial software.
But no, you won't be able to it'll still remember it's been there0 -
Chris,
It's ZoneAlarm PLUS that has a trial period - after the free trial period is over it SHOULD revert to the basic ZoneAlarm product, which is free but has less in the way of features.
If it does not revert automatically, uninstall ZA Plus and install the basic ZA.0 -
i used the pro version for a wile.
but i found that it never really added anymore protection than the free version, just more settings on it.
i get top marks using the free one when testing it on https://www.grc.com so why use the other?0 -
Free one is good enough for most cases. Personally, I don't think Zonealarm is as good as it used to be. It's seems to have more bugs with each release.Hug provider for depression thread :grouphug:

is this not in the wrong forum???Treat everyday as your last one on earth! and one day you will be right.:D0

With zonealarm there are6 different versions, you can try each one for 30 days before you need to buy it or uninstall it, unless you have the free one to start with.
I have the full suite and prefer it more than NIS or McAfee. It does slow down the first inital receiving of email for the session, but after that it is ok.
The basic version does not offer as much protection as the full one. It does not protect you from root kits.0
