we've just received a ticket allowing free foot passenger tickets to france on the ferry. Don't really fancy taking the car as b/friend gets nervous driving on roads he doesn't know, so it looks like it will be the foot passenger deal.

anyway, i fancy a trip, but not to buy fags 'n' stuff as we dont smoke or anything. have never been to france, just fancy a different experience.

all you regulars, is it worth going for the day if not loading up with cheap stuff? what d'you reckon? (had considered going by trainfrom london to paris for the day.. 1st class was nearly £600 though that might have been for both, ordinary class was £60 using the glamour promo)

Go ! Good day out, eat good food at reasonable prices. Make a fool of yourself and try to ask for something in French, watch them smile/snigger. Buy some Champers and good red wine. Have a good day
