good post by the way0 -
Never use links which able you to sign in automatically. I always go to secure links via the normal way or via bookmarks, you never know if some cretin is trying to con you.0

Can you explain to me what you mean by you go to secure links via bookmarks as I don't understand how you do that.
I'm not the most technical minded!
Thanks0 -
so was this respose via email?
if so on ebay never trust emails.only go via 'my messages'
going by bookmarks means when you want to go to ebay you go via ebay in your bookmarks and not by clicking a link like this www.ebay.co.uk
click that link and see if it goes to ebay0 -
Hi I meant links which you bookmarked and known to be legitimate rather than a link via email from a unknown source
example http://www.ebay.co.uk/
rather than say a link via email that goes to http://www.eb@y.co.uk/ or something along them lines. I have reported several phising sites other the years they are not awlays easy to spot hence always use caution when clicking on links in emailsIcanandwillsavemoney wrote: »Hi

Another good tip to remember is that genuine ebay emails will always have your ACTUAL name at the start, as well as your ebay username.
I've had about 4 this year alone. ALL reported as spoof, and had been correct about my concerns.................................... MSE MARTIN LEWIS ... :A ... THANK YOU.......................0 -

Oooh, I've had my paypal account and my eBay account suspended twice in the last couple of months as they reckon someone's tried to hack it... wonder if this is why. Thanks OP, will be checking all the other links in the window work now before typing in my password... I feel slightly stupid now! Good tip :T0 -
