Hi
I used to leave it until the last minute as the last couple of times i did that with canadian affair i flew to toronto for about £220 return, but recently i did the same thing and when i went to book they had no available seats, ended up paying £439 return through https://www.travelrepublic.com ...doh !!!
I guess if its you want to take the chance !0 -
With flights the prices are always cheaper the sooner you book.Martin also mentions this in his holiday advice. It is the opposite from holidays as the cheper flights sell out first and then the prices increase. So shop around for the best price and then book.0

My view would be to book now - I have waited too long in the past only to find that when I did try to book my preferred flights were full.0

Don't forget to check companies such as http://www.airtransat.uk.com/ & http://www.flyzoom.com/0

I usually book direct with Air Canada online as I need to fly into an off the beaten track airport and they are usually the lowest fare - and you get pretty good service; especially if you notify them ahead of time if there are any children or older people travelling in your party.
Their search engine is good too as it brings back a grid of fares based on travel times so you can book by fare, time etc
