We did our own. I advise making a kind of template eg if you are going to stick something onto the card say 2 cm in from the left and 2cm down from the top, make a little cardboard corner L shape 2cm wide to line up with top of the card and give you the exact place to stick to - helped save time measuring for us.
We didn't do them all at once, but tried to do a set amount each day.
We also printed the inside wording on separate insert paper so that if that went wrong, we wouldn't have to throw a whole card away
Only thing is - now the post rates have changed to include size - if you stick those paper flowers on the cards like we did - they might end up costing a bit more to postworking on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -
We did something similar to this but with just the round rose flower heads (no stems)

More ideas here and this site is very good for supplies too (we bought some bits from them, as well as all the envelopes).

Polly1976 did you see on the website that newlywed posted (weddncrafter) they have insert templates:

You can use this for your normal card making as well. Just save it and type your own verse of words over what is already there. Try it and see, it is easy.0 -

One other thing that I did (that I've not seen since in any other wedding invite) was to fill the inside with confetti - so when it was opened confetti fell everywhere out of the card. Everyone liked this idea - was quite a good talking point afterwards! Sally
My SIL did that, but her Dad wasn't very impressed at the love hearts and stuff floating in his cereal after he opened the invite :rotfl:Here I go again on my own....0 -
