Free codes for Unlocking Phones OTHER than Nokia's Thread 3

As the title states, I am looking to unlock the wife's phone which is the T-Mobile G1 and my phone which is the T-Mobile MDA.

Can anyone offer websites or instructions on how to / where I can unlock these for minimal charge or even better for free ?

Thanks to all who respond with advice to these posts.

I am unable to get an unlock code for a Motorola V360. I have been told that you need a cable and software to unlock it? Does anybody know of a code?

The IMEI code is 3589 2200 3337 865 and it is on T-Mobile.

Good luck to everyone getting their mobiles unlocked and on to a better deal.

I believe you have been given the correct information and that a code is not applicable in this case.

In future I'll have to consider another factor when buying stuff - ease of unlocking.
