Free codes for Unlocking Phones OTHER than Nokia's Thread 3

Does anybody know where i can get this done in the west yorkshire area. I have tried a number of local phone shops but nobody seems to have the software to do this.

First time I've tried to unlock a phone, I have a Sony Ericsson W580 locked to Orange, how would I go about unlocking it. I want to pass it along to a friend who uses a different network!

Can anyone tell me if I can use an O2 simcard in a Tesco mobile without having to unlock it - and is there an unlock code for a Samsung E250 on Virgin please. Edited to say - Oops I have just Browntoa's post a few pages back about not being able to unlock Samsungs.

I used the code recommended by other posters in this thread and on the first post which is #*7337# and it worked fine for me. I now swap my virgin mobile to orange for Orange Wednesday tickets. If you do a forum search putting in samsung j700 the previous posts should come up.
