I think that this one covers your situation nicely.
If you have personally underwritten the loan, then as I previously suggested I would have thought you would know about it, and they could have provided a copy of the signed agreement.
If they do produce something that suggests that you have underwritten the loan, then you may need to get some legal advice. The CAB (Citizen's Advice Bureau) may be a good starting point and have lots of experience with debt issues.
I can't think that they will though because it has gone on so long and they haven't advanced anywhere.0 -
Sorry, these links are not working very well.
On the site www.nationaldebtline.co.uk, select "England and Wales", then go to "Sample Letters".
There is one entitled :
"To complain to debt collection agencies who are pursuing you when you do not owe the debt".
Sound familiar ?0 -
I have today received a Default Notice.....which reads...
We L F Ltd, give you notice of default acting on our own behalf as assigness of the benfit of the above mentioned agreement and debt, and on behalf of M to the extent that they are still a creditor.
You have breached clauses 1b and 8 of the agreements which require you to make payments at stated times, in order for you to rememdy this breach you are required to make full repayment of £ by October 4th.
If the action required by this notice is take BEFORE THE DATE SHOWN no further ENFORCEMENT action will be taken in respect of this breach.
If you do not take the action required action before the date shown then the further action set out below may be taken against you.
On or after October 4th the agreement will be terminated.
IF you have difficulty in paying any sum owing under the agreement or taking any other action required by this notice, you can apply to the court which may make an order allowing or any surety more time.
If you are not sure what to do, you should get help as soon as possible, eg you should contact a solicitor, trading standards or C.A.B.
Bearing in mind, i just ignored the last letter, what are my options...can i still CCA them or should i do something else?0 -

Just read this post very quickly so forgive me if I am covering something that I might have missed.
The only way they could come after you is if you signed a director's guarantee for the card. We had to do this for our credit cards for our limited company. Basically this means you personally guarantee any debt on the card if anything happens to the company.
Hope this helps£1000 in 100 days £175.08/£1000:T0
