Parcelforce - don't deliver!!!

Options
I sent a parcel to go overseas on the 4th of December which was christmas presents for my family. Well I'm still waiting for them to be delivered. They said that the parcel has been put on a ship on the 4/1/08 but they can't say which ship. ??????? I would not risk sending items via this company as it seems that parcels just 'disappear'. I think it is a disgrace.

pickle, to which country did you send a parcel on the 4th December expecting it to be delivered in time for Christmas? If you knew that Parcel Farce was going to send your parcel by sea you could have paid a higher fee to have the parcel sent by air mail which would have ben much quicker.

Outside the very busy pre-Christmas period, air mail parcels to & from Australia can take 14-21 days but 10 days is more usual. This is just to illustrate how long it can take for a parcel to arrive at a foreign destination.

You only allowed 21 days for surface mail to a foreign country during the pre-Christmas rush!

    You sent it surface then.

It's either in a container somewhere on the high seas, or in the hands of some foreign postal service.

Next time pony up a bit more money and send it via air.

    Air - days to deliver

    Surface - months to deliver
