Not happy with Paypal out come

I bought some speakers and stands in December, the speakers arrived just after Christmas but the stands never arrived.

After a lot of argument with the seller I started a grievance with paypal. Their decision was that I should send the speakers back at my own cost and the seller would give me a refund. The problem came when I was unable to get onto the internet and I could not reply to this. The case was closed and I didn't get the chance to say that I was not happy with this. It would have cost me around £25 to send them back, probably more than the price of the missing stands.

My question is, as I didn't reply is it my fault? Is there anything I can do about it now? I haven't left feedback, should I leave a negative now?

Yeah, it sounds like the dispute failed at your end. You could try ringing paypal to explain - they may be abl;e to do something. That said... how long ago was the dispute? The sale happened a while ago now...

The dispute was ongoing throughout february and ended about two weeks ago. I just don't undetstand how the seller has got away with not sending me everything that I paid for anp paypal expected me to want to send the speakers back at my own cost when they would cost so much making it not worth it at all.

Unfortunately, you missed your deadline to respond, so they threw it out of court, so to speak.

Since all avenues via PayPal are now effectively closed, you should start a partial chargeback with your credit card company for "Significantly Not As Described", since the stands were never delivered. Pretty straightforward and it should allow you to purchase replacements from another supplier.

I'd leave factual negative feedback stating you did not receive stands and seller was unresponsive. Also give them suitable stars for service and S&H, etc.

    Good luck!
