Hi-my daughter is in 6th form aged 16. She wants to open a bank a/c. Is there any point and isf so are any banks better than the others.

I would go for one with a solo card becuase when I had visa electron I found I a lot of places wouldn't accept it so I switched for one with a solo card. I think natwest and HSBC are the only ones with solo now and I have a Natwest Card Plus account which pays quite good interest I think they put it up to 3.5% this year but i'm not 100% sure.0
