I've Had My Card Scammed!!!!!

Hi all, a word of warning.....i've had my bank card detail's used (or cloned) without my knowledge and £903 spent on it. Ok...the bank has reimbursed me but please be aware to check your statements regularly.
I have a policy with CPP (Card protection policy) and found that because the card hadn't been lost or stolen i was NOT covered!!! However, they do another policy to cover such events!!! HOW CONVIENIENT.
Has anyone any idea of a company that does one policy to protect all events for your valuables (including driving licence/passport/keys/holiday documents etc.) and do you really need this protection such as CPP offer. I'm sure banks, by law, are obliged to cover for fraudulent use of card detail's but does this include loss and theft?
Has anyone had experiences or got advice on similar matters? Any chance of an article or a bit of research into this Martin?
Before you know it your paying out a third of your wages on various insurance policies...JUST IN CASE....where do you stop??
Regards, Karl.

Check yout card T&Cs. Most cards cover you for fraud anyway so the extra protection isn't usually necessary.0

IMHO CPP is a rip off. My household policy covers me for credit card fraud, theft, loss of cash et al. My Capital1 card covers me for identity theft - it is free!"A nation's greatness is measured by how it treats its weakest members." ~ Mahatma Gandhi
