Polystyrene wall liner

I bought some Polystyrene wall liner to put on outside wall and chimney stack for extra warmth. It said on the pack to use warm something or other glue, cant find that in B&Q and size the walls. Can I use just pva glue to glue it to walls and also to size the walls with pva and water?

When I did our last house kitchen with poly liner, I just used ordinary wallpaper paste at max strength, size walls first with very weak solution as per packet.
Not easy to put up tho', as it doesn't behave like paper. It will mark or dent easily too, if it gets rough treatment. Did stop condensation in kitchen tho'.0 -
Thanks Bob but what is size? I have used it before with strong wallpaper paste but after a day or two putting wallpaper on it pulled some of the polystyrene off it did settle down after a few days in some places thats why I thought I will uses pva glue0

Sizing is when you 'paint' the walls with diluted paste, or in this case, you'd probably be best not diluting the paste.
It gives the paste you put on the polystyrene something to stick to, compared to a nice 'smooth' wall.Baby-Mechanic
The only reason I keep smiling is so that people wonder what I've been up to !!0
