Barclays Credit card 2% Cashback

I could not find this offer in any of the comparison sites, but when looking into Barclays site I could find this 2% offer.

More over
This site https://www.barclaycard.co.uk/personal-home/cards/platinum-hero/index.html tells 1% cashback.

This site www.barclays.co.uk/credit-card tells 2%

what is the difference, I am planning to apply for this cashback card. Any advice is appreciated.

All three of the different types of Platinum cards that they offer have different deals on the two sites.

With the cash back card the 0% offer on BTs is also different. On the Barclaycard site it's 12 months with 2.5% fee and on Barclays it's 14 months with 2.9% fee.

The T&Cs for the cash back is exactly the same on both, with Barclaycard showing 1% and Barclays showing 2%.

It's worth noting those are only for supermarket and petrol spending, all other purchases get 0.5% cash back (same on both).

They must just have different deals depending upon which site you visit. The links on Barclaycard seem to refer to it as platinum359 and on Barclays its referred to as platinum293.

Oh btw, the link for the Barclays site is slightly different to the OPs. The 's' was missed off, it should be:

Thanks for the information benf90, I knew that 2% is only for supermarket and petrol spending, all other purchases get 0.5% cash back. I already have a Amex card for more than a year, so planned to take a non-Amex card for places which doesnot accept amex. I felt this is one of the best for cashback, Capital one insists that the applicant should have been 5yr in UK, I am in UK for 4 yrs, so could not apply for it.
