Where can i find a list of up and coming Auctions?

I am looking for Up and coming auction around the south east, but all the ones i find online you need to pay for a monthly subscription, and they look iffy.
Im sure there must be some good free/ cheap websites out there that keep you updated?

There are a couple of publications that you need to subscribe to that are fairly good.
Also depends on the auctions, there is an antique auction website thats free and is regularly updated (that's not my field unfortunately).

About the best that covers auctions is "Auction News", thats online and postal. Due to the nature of the business there isn't really any that would cover them all, collatingthe information is just too difficult. A lot of auctions are called with short notice.

I've been in the auction business for a while and some websites and magazines actually make up some of the info they print, we occasionally got people turning up for auctions that weren't even scheduled after reading it in one place!

There are fair few auction houses listed here - http://www.eempire.co.uk/policeandbailiffauctions/ - but as above, it's rare to see any details on line of what the lots are etc.
