7Dayshop unprofessional service

I have never experienced such an unprofessional company before. I recently returned a faulty item for a refund. They are unable to make a refund due to their new system and are unable to access credit card information.
They requested me to send my credit card details including issue number through standard email, I declined and supplied my phone number or to make the refund by cheque.
They declined a cheque refund and told me to send my credit card information in several emails, again this is not secure?
I have never experienced such an unprofessional service regarding a refund before!

    It's like most firms, the service is good until you have a problem. If they sought it out quickly and with no problems I would then agree it's a good service.
  • Oh dear this is worrying, I ordered a camera on Saturday, only now I have to return it, because I hadn't realised my OH had already ordered one from elsewhere
    I know I get 7 days from receipt to send it back
    but now I'm worried that they wont' be able to process the refund
    Let me know how you get on!

    Btw I googled '7dayshop reviews' and it seems others have had problems with their service :(
    Feeding my 'sheep' money box with any £2 coins I get - no idea how much is in there will empty it when full

    hope you are ok with your refund
    but if you end up in the same situation as myself, don't under any circumstances send your card details through standard email, it's not secure?

    I've ordered 3 or 4 times from them without any problems. Maybe they're getting too big. I hope they get their computer problems sorted so you can get your refund soon.
