Monarch Airlines & Wedding - Help/Any Tips/Advice?

Hi MoneySavers, My partner and I are getting married in Florida soon and are travelling out with Monarch Airlines. We have been told that we have 20kg luggage allowance and we will not get any more. I have my wedding dress to take which is heavy enough but this contributes to my 20kg. They are not budging on giving us…

just take it onboard with you a get the cabin crew to worry about it..they will look after it and it will fit flat in the overhead locker. That's what my wife did when we went to florida. We had 2 flights to catch. The BMI flight was excellent, the BA flight rubbish but both airlines looked after dress perfectly well. I'm sure the Monarch crew will be just as good even if their ground staff aren't.
