You can hire roulette wheels and add a casino theme.
Heads and tails is v. striaghtforward. Everyone stands up and places their hands either on thier head (heads) or their bum (tails). Compere tosses a coin. If its heads then the heads remain standing and the tails sit down. Repeat until theres only 1 person left standing. The winner.
If you can get a golf club to donate a round of golf you can usually auction that for £100- £150 depending on the venue. Meals at local restaurants also go for £40.Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500 -
If you have a flat uncarpeted floor, try the "bowl for a bottle" game: you need a clear "track" a few metres long and a case of inexpensive wine (preferably donated). Place a "target" in the form of a SMALL flat card at the end. Bowlers bowl one-pound coins and win a bottle if their coin lands on the card. Practise beforehand to work out what distance you need in order to make it difficult but not impossible, so people will want to try. We made a load of money from this at an event.0

I've looked into hiring a roulette wheel for a dinner/dance that I am organising and have also been at one where there was one.
Legal tender is used to buy 'funny' money which is then used to gamble with and the idea is that the person with the most funny money at the end of the evening is the winner and sometimes the company supplying the tables will also supply a bottle of bubby as the prize.
It is good fun but I was put off becasue of the cost - nearly £400.2014 Target;
