First time on a forum so apologies if I've made any mistakes
I have just used a price comparison site recommended by Martin. I am currently using npower. The company recommended stated I could save £330 per year. As a single person this is a massive saving to me (well suppose it is to everyone). My worry is that if i do change i will be given a large bill at the end. IMy payments have just gone up to £108 per month, with the new offer it will be approx £78.At the end of the year can they just say.....have'nt charged you enough...pay up. I'll then be back to square one.
Hope you can help
Many Thanks

To avoid this its important that you take your own meter readings to track your consumption.
Always check your bill and if the reading was estimated give them the new one.
This should avoid a nasty shock as you will know where your are.
If switching make sure the new supplier has changed his prices recently or you will not be making any saving.
Your payments seem huge to me , but as i don't know your circumstances its difficult to comment. Are you currently in arrears, and the extra is to pay off the debt? That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -
Which is the company recommended that would save you £330? Remember that not all suppliers have announced their price rises yet. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0
