i live on a park home site in north yorks.
there are approx 120 homes on site.
we have just received our electric bills which are quite high.
i have been informed that our supplier is n power, but
on a commercial rate of 0.18 p per unit, this is about 60% higher than domestic rates.
any suggestion what we could do.
any thing would be appreciated

I too buy electricity this way for our summer home on the East Coast. I think I am right in saying that the Park owner cannot charge you any more per kw than he/she is being charged by the supplier but can levy an addition charge to cover the maintenance and supply across the park internal network. My 'Park Charge' last year was £100 in additional to my kw usage costs.
I'm not sure what you can do to influence the park owner as to which supplier he uses but remember that domestic rates will not be available to him as he is a commercial user and you do not have the option of sourcing you own supplier as the wiring and on-park electrical circuits belong to the park owner and are not specific to your unit.Life's a beach!
