    Best of luck, Sassers! :)

    Today I have:
    * checked my online banking - and found Specsavers took their Direct Debit twice this month, rang bank who've recalled it blaming a 'leap year error'
    * paid £100 off OH's CC
    * brought lunch in from home
    * drank squash / water at work, ignoring Diet Coke

    Afternoon

    Today I:

    * have checked online banking and am surprised to see money in there at this time of the month - something must be wrong somewhere!
    * have refused an opportunity to go into town to spend money unecessarily
    * am spending the day inside in the warm
    * will try and fix the dishwasher and it seems to be leaking somewhere!

Ever wonder about those people who spend £2 apiece on those little bottles of Evian water? Try spelling Evian backward.

I am a noobie..today I did my weekly shop, and by using a cheaper food store, saved a huge £30!!
The money I saved means an overpayment (woot) on a catalogue bill.
I know this is a tiny thing but being in here yesterday and facing up to things finally, has made me examine every aspect of what we spend...what an eye opener.
    Started a spending diary.
    Filled in a spreadsheet.
Kept my shopping receipts...(thats a first)
Feel more content than I have for months..this will not be easy...but I think we can do it..yay.

Not done much today, checked online banking, checked to see if there are any mystery shops available (nope) and going to have left over quorn chilli for tea, so only need to find something for the other 4.....maybe sausages.......lol. Feeling a bit down, so I might treat myself to a nice free bubbly bath tonight....or I might just sit here slumped in my chair lol.
