When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free.
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging the washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important.
Today I have /will
Hope you all have a great day.

Hi everyone!
Today I am not going to spend anything apart from amazon postage... I brought my own lunch (though I didn't feel like making it!), and have chicken al forno for dinner that we got from the reduced section in Sainsburys last night (£4.50 down to £1, bargain!).
Hope you all have fab DFW days

Wolfed down all the tea and scones I could manage at a corporate event in the hope that I won't have to eat anything for lunch and can save some cash that way!
Looked out some things for Ebay, but have heard it's a cheap weekend on Ebay so will hold off until then.Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!0 -
Today I have:
- Car shared with Partner to work so halved petrol cost to less than a £5 between us.
- One the girls in the office birthday so she brought in food so not brought any lunch today.
- Enough food in fridge now so no need to go near supermarket today.
- started my 20p challenge and now have 40p in the jar.
- do my online surveys
- check ebay
- sort through some more clothes for the boot fair on sun
- work out our finances as partner going to montly pay next month so will need to get him sorted, and see if we can cut back at all.
