Poss Water Leak - Trace & Access Service??

We called our insurance company to investigate a damp problem in the kitchen. They sent out a builder and a plumber to test the affected areas and try to ascertain the source - however, whilst both have confirmed there is quite a severe problem (the kitchen floor is soaking apparently and one of the internal walls has damp up to about 5ft high), neither could figure out the cause. There is nothing to indicate a leaking pipe i.e water meter is not moving and there are no drainage pipes in the affected area. However, the insurance guys seemed to think it was definitely a problem with a water leak, rather than any issues with the damp-proof membrane.
We have now been advised that the insurance company will not take this any further as we do not have 'Trace and Access' cover on our home policy. We have been advised that we need to find a plumber who offers this service.
Having scoured the yellow pages, we cannot see anyone offering this service. We have called a couple of local plumbers but are waiting for them to call back.
So, does anyone have any experience of this? Are there specialist companies who provide 'Trace and Access' services, or do we just keep trying plumbers until we find one that can help?
All suggestions appreciated.
Thanks
Andy

If you're happy to sell it to me at a price I am happy to pay - then I want it cheaper.
