NEW LOOK Hargreaves Lansdown site - Where's the "Market Report" gone...?!!

Title says it all really; I can't find the "market report" on HL new site; and I'm getting withdrawals! There used to be a link on the front page, and it updated throughout the day.

Thanks in advance folks!:money:

What was the old URL? The new site seems to be pretty much identical to the old as far as I can see apart from having had a facelift - all my old URLs still seem to work as before so maybe if you just type in the URL it will come up (maybe find the URL in your browser history first if you visited it recently)?

The new site is nice and all that but doesn't seem much more than a facelift, wider page, bigger fonts, changed login, all I noticed so far. A few tweaks to the portfolio system would have been good but that doesn't seem to have been touched at all. How hard can it be to get the daily price changes added to the portfolio viewer!

    EDIT:
    Is this it: http://www.h-l.co.uk/shares_and_stock_markets/market_reports.hl ?

It's tucked away in the 'Share tips & research' menu on the 'Share research & prices' page... I take it it wasn't that hard to reach before? So much for them making the site easier to access eh? :(

Thanks very much. It was previously located on the home page, and you couldn't miss it. I have noticed, having just had a quick look, that the reports aren't bang upto date - The last report was 04 Mar, 2008 11:51 hrs - The final report always shows the days winners and losers at the bottom of the report; but I guess it'll sort itself out soon enough. Personally I thought the previous web site/look was fine, if not better - As the saying goes... If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

    Thanks again:money:

Yep, same here, thought the old site was fine also. Got slightly excited when they announced a new site coming online soon in the portfolio viewer, but was a bit of a let down really... oh well, as long as they keep up the good brokerage service I don't mind heh.

I agree - the new site doesn't format properly on my machine unless I massively crank up the text size - which makes it harder to read.

They obviously didn't test it in Firefox - it's just a long list of text. Works fine in an IE tab though.

It has a cleaner look with more priminence of a white background and colours are less brash than they were. Havent decided yet about the functionality of it.

They've taken a large step backward with the new design in my opinion.

It doesn't render correctly in Safari on Mac, fonts appear too large and for me it was nowhere near as clear as the previous design.

Yet another company using IE 'standards' for testing instead of a proper standards compliant browser.

    Shame.

I was hoping they would add the possibility of withdrawing money through the website, but apparently, we still have to wait, unless i missed it.

Couldn't agree with you more; the older version looked a lot better, and more modern I think. I prefered the colour theme and everything. Mind you, as they say... looks aren't everything (But they do help!):D
