Holiday to Fuerteventura...

Me and my partner are fed up at paying rip off travel agents prices to go on holiday and alot of people have been telling us to look online and its alot cheaper and i have managed to find some prices..... But i am not great with the internet holiday things.

I would really appreciate it if anyone could kindly find us a good price or come up with any suggestions or reccomendations.

We live in Nottingham so east midlands is our preffered choice of airport but will travel from any other airport as long as its saving money after paying for fuel to get to the other airport and for parking the car for the week. We do not need in flight meals or transfers etc

HOLIDAY DETAILS.....
Number of People :- 2 adults Self Catering
Destination :- Fuerteventura, Caleta de fuste (town we want to stay in)
Number of Nights :- 7 nights
Hotel we want :- Caleta Gardens
Airport :- East Midlands (will fly from any other if works out cheaper)

If anywhere that anyone finds knows that it works cheaper if theres a group of people going we are going with alot of my partners family.... Aswel as me and my partner going there is another 5 adults and 3 childeren (childerens ages 6,7,9)

If i have missed anything else important from this please say and i will post anything i missed.

Again i really appreciate any help given...

Kayleigh x

Also if anyone reading this can find the holiday i want from the information given a damn sight cheaper than the travel agents charge i would be so grateful.

This website has a number of online tour operators who do holidays to the hotel you want:
    http://www.holidaywatchdog.com/925-Caleta_De_Fuste-Caleta_Garden_Apartments-Holiday-Review.html

Using that I got the following:

    total cost of flights= £445.96
    http://book.flythomascook.com/skylights/cgi-bin/skylights.cgi

total cost of accomodation at Caleta Garden Apartments = £139 https://www.xcapewithus.com/XcXml/hotels2.aspx?propid=3186#Results

Thus total cost for the tow of you (excluding transfers) is about £585 for a week. How does that compare to high street travel agents?

Yes that by far beats the travel agents although i was very proud of myself just now when i have got a price of £518 for me and my partner.... But im still going to keep hunting for better prices.

Anyone else know of a way to get this holiday as cheap as possible?

I stayed at the Caleta Gardens last year with my family. We picked up a card from reception in case we wanted to book direct this year.

The phone number is 928 163400 (web site www.caletagarden@turicomplex.es)

Failing that, try www.medhotels.com - this is who we booked through last year and it was a good deal (although we went in August school hols).

We flew with XL.com from manchester and they were fine. Don't know what your options are from East Mids, although I know Thomas Cook fly from Birmingham because we have booked to go again this year (although different hotel - going to Corralejo this time).

    Good luck
