Hi everyone,
This is sort of a "double post" cos I'm needing help with two different things!
DS turns 5 soon and we have booked a small room for £50 for 2 hours. It has a bouncy castle in and a climbing frame. We are taking our own food and providing the entertainment ourselves.
I am doing a few pass the parcels and taking a cd player and some party songs to get them dancing about to- but wonder if anyone has any other ideas to fill up some time save them getting bored? I need them obviously as cheap as possible as we're on a real budget. (good place to mention thid is the first bday party for either child that has not been held at home- we normally have parties at home to save money- but DS has too many little school friends this year for my house!) :rotfl:
I can't really afford to hire an entertainer so I'm needing to think of something else
Okay, second pickle!
My mum and dad celebrate their Pearl wedding anniversary in the summer and me and my sister are looking to do something a bit special for them in place of a party- which we cant afford...
For my mums 50th birthday we all went to a big park and took a picnic and gazeebo's and kids cricket/football sets etc. We took loads of disposable BBQ's and had everyone met us there un-be-knowns to my mum. We want to plan a similar thing for their anniversary-but would like to put a bit of a different twist on it somehow. Anyone got any ideas?
