Why don't shops seem interested in refunding a phone which breaks in less than 6 months? They seem to think they can use the excuse its been dropped when it clearly hasnt!

general wear and tear if it has been working for a number of months prior?? I guess it would be the same with most products?! and the general mickey taking by many people, unfortunately not all, and they pay the price.
What has happened to your phone?0 -
Goods sold have to be capable of doing the job for which they are intended (I can't remember the exact wording, but that's the gist of it).
You should argue that a phone that dies after 6 months of normal wear-and-tear does not meet that requirement.
If it's had abnormal wear-and-tear, then that's a different matter.0
