Mortgage and personal loan insurance

Hi i've been reading through the site and some of the posts in the forums and am a little confused.
I've recently bought a flat and through my broker ended up with Mortgage Decreasing Term Assurance with Critical Illness Cover (from L and G £16p/m) and Mortage Payment Protection Insurance (also from L and G £24p/m). I also have a bank loan with PPI not sure how much i am paying per month. I wanted to know if i was better putting all these into the one insurance policy or taking out a mixture, such as Life Assurance and Income protection?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
