DHL courier - anyone tried it?

They just called me and said I was being put forward for interview.
65p per delivered parcel
20-25 parcels a day
3 mile radius
need own storage

Need to be available for a number of hours during the day
I drive a renault scenic

What do you think - anyone with experience of this?

Dont forget your car insurance aswell you wont be covered for business use and you might need courier insurance (exspensive)
  • Ah well, I would not like to risk being uninsured! Thanks David never thought of that. I thought 65p per parcel was low too specially as its only when delivered, not per attempt. It could be even near 3 miles away! Its not sounding so appealing.

thats only 16.25 if your doing 25 drops, if you dont have anything better to do with your time i guess its better to be earning, as to how much you would make, i realy dont think it would work out as a good earner, if you have to take care of your own expences i would be supprised if its minimum wage.
  • Fair point dadof4, that on top of having to provide storage!!!!!I am really keen to earn dosh but it does sound like it as too many negatives.

Yep, please go for the interview and see how they want you to be?
If the opportunity is good, the rest matters like car insurance etc can be solved!
