Cashback or rewards card

    Yup. But you can put the cash you didn't have to use to pay off the CC into the savings account.

    Another option is to stop spending on the card so the cashreward puts your account in credit. You can then close the account and should get the credit refunded as a cheque. Bit extreme though.
