i've heard bad reports about mydv on the psp forums, take your money and don't deliver the goods. stay clear. no idea on any good uk deals i'm afraid. i got mine from yesasia, and very happy with it. came with 1.5 firmware so can happyily homebrew with pacman and other little games. there is also a couple of bits of software you can put on your card to give it a webbrowser (fired up browser) and to fool it into thinking it's got version 2 so you can play the newer games - although the reports are that this won't work with GTA

I have just managed to order the psp from Argos this morning. Tried yesterday morning and it said in stock but when I confirmed the order it told me they were out of stock. Did the same thing today and order was confirmed for delivery Monday.
£179.99 for the psp pack and £4.95 for delivery plus £10 money off voucher if you spend over £100
They are doing a special deal, save £20 if you add the essentials kit and one game to the basket but the essentials kit is out of stock at the moment.
I shall wait and see if it arrives on Monday!!
I have been searching the high street and online for a while and this is the first one I have found in stock.

Sony have announced that a new PSP pack (Giga Pak) that should be available in time for Christmas (whether or not you believe sony after having to wait nearly a year for the UK release is another matter).

Anyway, it's similar to the Value Pak but comes with a 1GB memory stick (the 32MB one is pretty useless IMO) and a little stand so you can watch movies -the only difference is that you don't get a wrist strap. Apparently it should retail for 1p short of £215 so if it does get released it's quite a good deal - I paid £150 for my US PSP and about £79 for a 1GB MS - then got stung for import duty!!!

I got a UK version from the UK thanks to a site called ... http://www.psp-deals.co.uk
They e-mail you when new items are in stock. Unfortunately they now suggest only packs will be available so expect to pay over £170 if you want one for Christmas.

You hear correctly- Mydv- Steer clear-I am a victim-along with many others-they have my money-we have no goods-now a month since ordered and no sign of the goods or the money back-My visa card people are assisting me.
