Sandtex, ultra smooth or fine textured ?

Any advise on which is best. Bungalow is rendered not very rough texture. I've looked on the Sandtex website and used their calculator. The difference in the amount I would need is staggering, Ultra smooth 9.63 ltrs, textured 26 ltrs. I'm tempted to go for the ultra smooth on cost alone. The rendering is in good condition, just needs freshening up, would I need to do 2 coats? Standtex is on 3 for 2 at Focus at the moment so might get a bargain.
When painting fascia boards, I think that's the right term, the wood under the gutters, it seems to me it might be easier to take the guttering down, paint the wood and replace the gutter. Does guttering just clip into the brackets? As I said it's a bungalow and the guttering is about 8" or so high all round.

Use Ultra Smooth - you can fill any small cracks with that too if you splodge it in! Make sure you get the newer tubs which are microporous - ie - they let the walls breathe as you may need to let any moisture which gets into the wall escape back out. Look out for the red Microseal logo near the bottom/front of the tub. One good coat should do it.
Guttering does clip in - very tight usually. Depending on the age may be brittle.
Will be off to Focus myself - thanks for the tip!Money can't buy you happiness, but it does bring you a more pleasant form of misery.

I hope you get your paint. I went into Focus this afternoon, picked up 3 tins, went to the checkout and was charged the full price, mentioned the 3 for 2 and the girl went to look and came back with the ticket off the shelf and said that the offer ended yesterday, but as no one had taken the ticket off she let me have it as 3 for 2. So I was well pleased.0
