well done.
So when is your 30th Birthday then? Its good to have a target in mind.
Your total debt is £36748 by my quick calculations. How much does your OD cost you every month or is that free.
good luck getting the DMP sorted.0 -
Yaya to you.

thanks for the comments everyone. i will turn 30 in 4 years time, march 2012 to be exact. cccs have worked out on my current budget it will take us 7 years to clear the debt we owe but i have been tweaking things and hope to have a couple of £100 extra a month before long. also dd has just been offered a place at local state nursery come sept 09 so if i can get that to work with my working hours, that will save me £150ish a month in childcare costs, plus i can walk there (save petrol costs) and hopefully be able to work a few more hours. feeling very happy. so roll on turning 30 and getting pregnant!!( dh has been all sensible and won't budge on the issue of having another baby to we are a bit more financially sound- i know he's right, but its hard!!)0

ok so i have checked all the royal mail recorded refs to see who has my letters and the only 2 that still say have not been delivered are to HSBC which is only 5 miles from my home!!can anyone tell me how long i should wait to see if they sign for these or should i send them another letter or just leave it for cccs to contact them??
Regards to the companies that have cashed my £5 token payments, so far only:
dorothy perkins
MBNA alliance & leicester
hsbc credit card
have cashed the token cheques. does this mean they are agreeing to accept my dmp??
Also odd that HSBC haven't signed for the letter but cashed the cheque?
had a letter from egg today stating that we have not complied with the default notice they sent ( thats because they wouldn't accept that we couldn't pay full amount and wouldn't accept a token payment of £300+!!) they have said they are now ppassing the debt to a debt collection agency. what do i do? they have recieved the letter saying we are going on a dmp but as yet have not cashed the token cheque. shall i call cccs or shall i just wait to see what they send/ do next?
still awaiting mine and hubbys payslips so i can get the ball rolling with cccs, is there a time limit on these things?( i did put in the letter to creditors that the dmp plan would be set up as soon as possible as didn't have an exact date) obviously i know the sooner we can get this set up the better but wanted to get up to date payslips and statements first.
lordy i'm going on a bit today!! just feel a bit like i am in limbo at the moment!

sorry just wondered if anyone had any advice on the above post at all??0

sorry Pink, I dont know much about DMP's, but it sounds like a call to CCCS would answer your queries.
And good luck for the next 4 years.
How old is your dd? Interesting that they have offered her a nursery place 18 months in advance. We found out last week that DS can go to school nursery after easter, 2 days after we found he is going there full-time in Sept.0 -
hi sassamac sorry i meant sept 08 so 6 months in advance not 18!whoops sept 09 will be the year dd will go to school!hopefully then be able to find a f/t job again.0

hi all was woken at 8am this morning with a call from egg (usually friday is my lie in!) it went really well! considering i was half asleep and the girl at the other end of the line was very flusstered! she started the call with the usual blurb re payment not made etc then went very silent and asked me to hang on a minute!(assume the screen with all my details had only just kicked in!) well anyway she came back and was oh i see you have sent us a letter regarding cccs so i said yes so she didn't really say anything else than she would send out a standard default notice, but not to worry about it, and they would deal with cccs in the future. cheeky !!!!!! thou asked if i could make a token paymen as that would help my case when i questioned why they didn't use my token £5 cheque payment enclosed in the letter she said they had, buut could i pay anymore!? i assume she was hoping i would be all flusstered and not remember the cheque!?
well feeling rather pleased as that went very well, girl seemed really nice! :j0
