Well I've been recommended to switch my gas from BG to Ebico as they are a not for profit organisation. I've completed the form on line etc and they take 6-8 weeks to transfer etc. Has anyone used Ebico? Any feedback would be appreciated?
Good reports on several forums, and I like their objectives.
However they cocked up my transfer, and they do not appear to have any staff to answer their phones. It takes days to get a reply by e-mail.
They use several of the big suppliers to manage their sales, and no doubt they can sought out day to day problems satisfactorily.0 -
Ebico are a type of Fairtrade energy supplier. Simple bills, tho not the cheapest for everyone. Due an increase anytime , probably the end of this month, guessing 15% plus. Under the badge of Southern Electric with superb administration.0

I am with Ebico - search Ebico on here and you will find a lot of satisfied customers.
They have a straightforward low priced tariff - not one of those companies with several tariffs which can be confusing to work out.
Ethical company, their customer service is very good and they make the effort to keep their prices low, have a look at their aims on their website here

I used to be with Ebico for both gas and electricity, and they were brilliant.Actually, the accounts are handled by Southern(i think) but the charges were simply- no 2 level pricing - no discounts but a really ethical company. I only left because I got £55 for switching to S.Power!!0

I was with Ebico for both gas and electricity but changed to Southern Electric (who administer Ebico's accounts anyway) as being quite a high user it was really worthwhile switching. Ebico were really good, I wouldn't have changed if it wasn't for the fact that I could save about £200 per year.Stopped smoking 27/12/2007, but could start again at any time :eek:0
