i brought this for my nan about 6 months ago now from a car boot - was brand new or refurbished i don't know but works a treat for my nan. I noticed ASDA had some Funari electronics instore but im not sure if it was the VCR, might of been. Either way we payed £12.99 and had no problems so far. Hope this helps

    • Auto head cleaner.

What a auto head cleaner dose clean my head out?.

    You really don't know?

It's easier to describe it in terms of a cassette tape player.
There's a wee silver bit which is the part that reads the info off the cassette tape and sends the data to the screen - this is the head.

After continuous use there can be some grime accumulate from the tape onto the head. Auto head cleaner means that the unit will clean it for you as it goes along, instead of you having to get some meths and a cotton bud and doing it yourself!

And to pre-empt it, NTSC is American format VHS, so this unit plays both PAL (UK and Europe) and NTSC.

I still use my VHS for watching and recording as it's so easy.
if I want to keep the show after i'll then convert it to DVD.
It's BOUGHT (to Buy), not BROUGHT (to bring) AND you cannot be frauded, only DEfrauded.

Please do not buy animals from a pet store. Visit your local sanctuary or centre and give a good home to an unloved or abandoned animal.
