Overcharged in Morrisons again!!!!!

Options
A new Morrisons openned nearby at the end on last year which I have used regularly as it's much more convenient to get to than other supermarkets. However I have only managed 2 visits that I have not been overcharged on (that I have noticed).

Mainly it is the special offers advertised that do not always apply properly on the bill, but have also noticed some pricing errors. I haven't always obtained a refund (a lot of hassle to get the overcharge back if only 30p or so), but today topped it off - small shop of only £38, overcharged £3.24!!!! Person in front of me at customer services also overcharged and a long queue behind all had shopping trolleys and receipts in hand.

Anyway, it is certainly putting me off shopping there anymore as it adds time & hassle to the weekly shop.

Was going to drop an email to their Head Office, but Morrisons website only has a tel no & postal address which is going to cost me money to complain!!! Hence my rant here!!

I was overcharged in Morrisons today, 0.26p went to customer services got it back straight away. The last time it happened the guy at the till didn't put the 3 bars of chocolate through the till, saying it's the companies fault for not getting the pricing right. I would always go to customer services if overcharged.

I work on the checkouts at Morrisons and I have noticed that there seems to be a lot 0f problems lately with promo prices not coming up on the till. Someone at head office can't be doing their job updating prices

It happens with me too but the one i shop at is brilliant, they never question you even when you bring stuff back after a fortnight, and last time i didn't even have my receipt but it was obviously their product.I think Morrisons is by far and away the best supermarket.

I don't shop at Morrisons anymore because of overcharging. That combined with the fact that there was only 2 trolleys for babies in the entire shop (by their own admission!) I complained to the manager, who just shrugged his shoulders and said they get stolen- no apology nothing!

Was in Morrisons again tonight. Second time in a week I have been overcharged and I am getting so sick of it.

When they first opened I got overcharged almost every time plus they would put special offer prices under another make or product. For a while its been ok but I have noticed this last few weeks they are at it again. Last week there was five special offers on the wrong products or sizes that I noticed. I got my money refunded, but CS just shrug their shoulders.

Back to Asda for me, at least they dont do it so often and you get a £2 gift card if they do.

i was charged £4.50 for two apples the other week - they gave me the full amount back even though id eaten the apples, but, like you say it is annoying having to go back week after week......unfortunately i dont have a car and this is the only supermarket near to me....

That's a real shame, I love Morrisons and go a few times a week to the one near me in Kirkstall, Leeds (one big shop and a couple of top ups), and have never been overcharged. And boy do I watch that till display to check my deals are going through! :rotfl:

You should write and complain to them though, otherwise they'll carry on doing it!

    Whereabouts is your offending Morrisons?
    Toluna - 68,260 points (16,300 pending) | Pigsback - £2.72 (claimed £30) | Global Test Market - 230 points | OnePoll - £12.30 | Lightspeed - 480 points | YouGov - £15.75 | Pinecone - £8.00

This one is in Dumbarton. I do prefer them to Asda, but Ive just got so sickened of their practices. I will write to them.
